Mr.S.Subramhanyan. IRAS (Retd) (1979 batch, currently UPSC panel member) - Advisor & Chief Mentor
Mr.Subramhanyan has had a fairly long posting in the National Academy of Railways from 1997-2003. This gave him opportunity to acquire specialised skills in Training Methodology, Structuring of Course, Pedagogy, Presentation Skills and Assessment of Performance. He teaches Civil Service Conduct Rules and Case Studies in Ethics which are part of Paper 4 of General Studies Mains. Twice he got selected to the prestigious Indian Police Service(IPS), but he decided to continue in IRAS due to his love for Railways. He also teaches Infrastructure, Railways, Ports, and certain areas of Science which are part of General Studies syllabus to students of Officers IAS Academy.
Mr. S. Saravana Kumaran (IRS - 2004 batch) - Coach and Mentor
Mr. S. Saravana Kumaran became IRTS Officer in the year 2000, with highest marks in Sociology optional. He again appeared in the UPSC-CSE exam and got into the prestigious Indian Revenue Service (IRS) in the year 2004. After working in several places across our country in different capacities, he decided to take up teaching at Officers IAS Academy. He was holding the post of Joint Commissioner, Income Tax until recently, and has taken voluntary retirement so that he can be available “Full Time” in Officers IAS Academy to Teach, Guide and Mentor aspirants. He will teach few areas of General Studies and will also teach Sociology Optional subject for students of Officers IAS Academy.
Mr.R.Rangarajan (IAS - 2005 batch, All India Rank - 46) - Associate Director
Mr.R.Rangarajan, who is a Chartered Accountant & Cost Accountant took the challenge of Civil Service Exam and cleared it with an All India Rank of 46 in the year 2005. After serving few years, his passion for teaching brought him to our Academy. Mr.R.Rangarajan Teaches Polity, Governance and few Current affairs classes in General Studies for students of Officers IAS Academy. He also teaches Anthropology Optional subject. As an Associate Director of Officers IAS Academy.Mr.R.Rangarajan is available throughout the day for teaching and clearing doubts of students of Officers IAS Academy.
Mr.R.A.Israel Jebasingh (IAS - 2004 batch, All India Rank - 59) - Director
Mr. R.A.Israel Jebasingh was a Teacher before he succeeded twice in UPSC Civil Service Exam and his passion for Teaching pulled him back into it. He is a passionate Teacher and his students in our Academy and outside in various Digital Forum vouch for it, where he has a huge following. He is available full time in the Academy to take classes, Guide & Mentor students. Mr.Israel Jebasingh was a topper in Public Administration Optional. He teaches Public Administration Optional Subject, Economy, and Disaster Management as per the UPSC revised General Studies Papers.
Mr Sivakumar - Joint Director
Mr Sivakumar is called 'THE TEACHER' amongst the peers in Civil Service Coaching field. He is teaching Civil Service aspirants for past 15 years and has produced many Civil Servants during these years. He is Joint Director at Officers IAS Academy and will teach few areas in General Studies and also few areas of Public Administration along with Mr Israel Jebasingh. He is not only a teacher but also a counsellor. With his 15 years experience, he counsels each and every candidate and helps them to identify their weak areas and suggests remedial measures. Mr Sivakumar is a great asset for Officers IAS Academy.
Mr. Joseph - Joint Director
The popular saying in LalBahadurShastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie is, “Every IAS batch in the past 10 years had at least few IAS officers who had been students of Joseph”. He appeared in UPSC interview 3 times and later joined as a Professor in Loyola College. He is also the Founder and Director of the popular Josh Academy in Chennai which had produced several successful IAS officers. Mr. Joseph has extensive experience in teaching profession. He teaches Sociology Optional Along With Mr.S.Saravana Kumaran IRS And Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude as per the UPSC revised General Studies papers.
In the ancient Gurukul system, the Guru was himself an achiever.Mr.Chezhian, is one such Guru. Mr.Chezhian, himself a topper in UPSC CAPF examination, has also appeared for two IAS interviews. As an Asst. Commandant of CRPF, he has roamed across the Naxal belts of India and served the Country. Due to his passion for teaching he decided to join Officers IAS Academy. His extensive work experience across India eminently qualified him to teach Internal Security & Indian Geography for students of Officers IAS Academy.
Mr.Uday is an Electrical Engineer with Post graduation in Energy systems from IIT Madras. He has more than 13 years of professional corporate experience including with leading International Consultants like KPMG as Associate Director. He was a Rank Holder in GATE 1999, Engineering Services Exams ( IES ) 2000 and qualified for few Maharatna PSU companies. He attended Interview for UPSC - Civil Services Exam in 2007, In 2003, he also taught in New Delhi for Engineering Services Exam ( IES ) and GATE aspirants. At Officers IAS academy, Uday will be teaching International Affairs, Environment, Science and Technology section of General Studies.
Mr Dharmarajan who has been teaching Tamil Optional for the past 10 years for Civil Service Aspirants has joined Officers IAS Academy. He wrote 8 times Mains Examination with Tamil Optional and used to score top marks in Tamil. However due to low marks in other optional he could not get into service.He has also attended 2 times Civil Service Interview. Mr Dharmarajan will teach Tamil Optional at Officers IAS Academy.
Dr. Ganapathy Vijayakumar
Dr. Ganapathy Vijayakumar is a Phd. in Psychology and is Teaching since 1984. He has 33 years of experience in Teaching Psychology to Undergraduate & Postgraduate Students, Civil Service aspirants in Delhi and as Resource Person for various Organisations including Police Training College. He will teach Psychology Optional subject here.
Mrs.SnehaJain who writes Current Affairs articles for few Competitive magazines, teaches 'The Hindu' Current Affairs classes for students of Officers IAS Academy. Not only she is an expert in Current affairs, but she is also known for her prediction of Current Affairs Questions in UPSC Prelims and Mains, due to her expertise in analysis of previous year UPSC questions. Instead of advising the students to read 'The Hindu' for clearing Civil Service Exam, we at Officers IAS Academy teach 'The Hindu' for our students, thanks to Mrs.Sneha Jain.
Mr.Sanjai is a Mechanical Engineer passing out with Distinction and Awarded ‘Best Outgoing Student’. He worked in senior position with TATA, before the passion for teaching “International Relations & Internal Security” pulled him into teaching for UPSC Exams.
Mrs.Priya is a "Gold Medallist" in her graduation. Subsequently she went on to do her PG in M.sc. - Biotechnology, M.A - English Literature, M.Ed, and presently pursuing P.hd. She has qualified the prestigious NET exam and teaching Civil Service aspirants for last few years.
Mr. Iden is a Public Prosecutor for Govt. of Tamilnadu. A learned person, Mr. Iden had qualified the written examination of District Judge 2013, Civil Judge 2014 and CBI Public Prosecutor 2014. He was also selected as an Assistant Commandant by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Due to his passion for teaching, Mr. Iden teaches law Optional for students of Officers IAS Academy. His practical knowledge of Law due to his work as Public Prosecutor combined with his in depth knowledge of Law, makes his classes very lively, interesting and Exam oriented.
Ms. Nisha Nujumudeen
Ms. Nisha Nujumudeen is a Masters in Economics and persuing Mphil. She has been teaching for more than 5 years now. She has represented India as a delegate in a Economic Conference held in Japan. She has also published many papers.
Mr. Vibhu Anurag, an alumnus of the prestigious Symbiosis International University, Pune is a distinguished trainer in the fields of English, Mathematics, Science, Foreign Trade and Corporate Skills. Articles submitted by him have received the 'best article' award from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi and he has also been felicitated by Loyola College, Chennai. For Officer's IAS Academy, he teaches Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, General Science, Foreign Trade and Essay Writing.
