1. The no of questions from world history has fallen gradually in the last four years .In 2016, only one question was asked. However ,it is difficult to predict if the same will continue.
2. The questions are from major topics -Industrial revolution, colonisation in Africa,world wars, new economic policy ,etc.
3.The questions are more analytical rather than factual.

Step 1- Look into the previous year question papers
Step 2 – Identify the main areas /topics under world history.

Socialism: The Beginning and Rise, First International, Second International
Imperialism, Colonization of Asia, Africa, Americas
First World War: Causes, Consequences, Treaty of Versailles, Triple Alliance
Russian Revolution: Causes, Consequences, Comintern
Between Two world Wars, Nazism, Fascism, The Great Depression
Second World War, events, battles, resistance movements
After WW2: Birth of UN, Division of Germany-USSR-Yugoslavia, Cold War, NATO, CENTO, SEATO, Warsaw and NAM, Asian Independence, Korean war, Vietnam war , African Independence: Egypt, French Guniea, Mau Mau rebellion, Apartheid
Step 3 – Chòose your reference material- Old NCERTs or World History by NormanLove or Youtube videos or Mrunal.org
Step 4 – Make notes topic wise .Eg- If you choose the topic ‘World war’ ,then you will make notes on causes ,events ,results and impact on the world .
Step 5- Use these notes for revision .
