Israel has the distinction of having cleared the UPSC exam twice, first time entering IRTS and then IAS. He resigned from the service in 2009 and founded Officers IAS Academy in 2013. As an IAS Officer in the West Bengal Cadre he was highly regarded for his out of the box thinking while serving in some of the toughest regions of India. He has a passion for teaching and has vast experience in the government and private sectors. Topper in the Optional subject – Public Administration.

Mr. Israel Jebasingh

A Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, he decided to become a Civil Servant and secured AIR 46 in his very first attempt. After serving for few years, he resigned from the IAS and joined the team at Officers IAS Academy as a full-time faculty to coach the next generation to become civil servants. He like Israel has a passion for teaching.

Mr. Ashok Vardhan Shetty
(lAS – 1983 batch)
Got selected twice to the prestigious IPS (Indian Police Service) but chose to continue in the IRAS due to his love for Railways and he retired as Additional Member of Railway Board, Government of India. It was during his stint as a Civil Servant, gave certain recommendations to the Alagh Committee on Civil Services reforms which led to far-reaching changes in the pattern of the exam – reduction of the Optional subjects and introduction of ethics paper. Plays a crucial role in preparing students to face the Interview board.

Mr. Subramhanyan S

An entrepreneur who made the transition to service, where he was most recently the Asst. Commandant in the CRPF. He is both a teacher and a mentor to IAS aspirants relying on his experience of having cleared 17 competitive exams and attended 3 interviews.

He is a true veteran legend in the field of civil services coaching. He has been guiding aspirants in Delhi and Chennai for over 16 years and at least a hundred successful candidates would vouch for his contribution. He has a prodigious reputation in the UPSC circle for geology optional and has helped scores of students clear the Indian Forest Services Examination, including the most recent toppers.

Mr. Dharmaraj
He holds a 5-Year Integrated Masters Degree in Humanities from IIT Madras. Has been teaching Public administration for more than 5 years. Known for his exam oriented approach in training aspirants, he has produced several toppers from Public Administration optional. He is quite popular amongst students not only for his teaching skill but also for his scientific approach in predicting Public administration questions every year.

Mr. Gunasekar Mathivanan, a pianist turned teacher, heads the Research and Development team at Officers IAS Academy. He is much beloved as the current affairs faculty. Dr. Chitra Ramesh, a Professor at the prestigious Madras Medical College (MMC) has also designed and implemented health programmes for the National Health Mission and also been a state level trainer for State level health programmes. Dr Chitra Ramesh is also a specialised coach for MBBS students for their PG .She teaches Medical Science optional for students of Officers IAS Academy. Additionally she will also teach Health related areas of Science & Technology in the General Studies for students of Officers IAS Academy.

Mr. Duraish Kumar
Mr Santhanam, received his masters from Uppsala University, Sweden, in Biology and was one among the 3 Indians to receive the Uppsala IPK scholarship in 2012. In spite of his science background, his love for history triumphed over and today he is a beloved history faculty at Officers IAS Academy. He is well known among Officers IAS Academy students for his unique, logical approach towards learning history.

Mr. Santhanam KLSM
Devnath is a Mechanical Engineer by qualication and has an experience of 7 years in the Civil Services Examination circuit. His USP is his ability to analyse patterns in the examination paper and present them as unique identiable techniques. His Sharpshooter classes are a big draw amongst the students and has helped many of them clear the Preliminary Exam. He is also known for his story-like, lucid presentation of Art and Culture. He is a former IAS aspirant with experience of attending 3 interviews at UPSC. Yuvaraj is a Chemical Engineer by graduation, has almost a decade’s experience in the Civil Services circuit. Coming from a farming family, his love for nature helped him specialise in Environmental studies. His teaching career as a Faculty of English Literature in two universities and few colleges extends to 12 years. He is very passionate about teaching literature and has been a visiting faculty at many esteemed institutions. He has been teaching English literature optional for Civil Service Aspirants.
